You will lose a valuable account service if you do not respond soon. Due to recent regulatory changes, you must either opt-in or opt-out of certain services provided by Service One Credit Union in our Discretionary Overdraft Privilege Program.

Currently Service One, at its discretion, honors checks and other transactions made using your checking account number, automatic bill payments, ATM transactions and debit card transactions, even if the item causes your account to overdraw. Due to regulatory changes, after August 14, 2010, Service One will no longer authorize ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card transactions that would otherwise overdraw your account, unless you tell us to do so in writing, or “opt-in”. You may opt-in or opt-out of this service at any time.

Bill Pay is the most convenient way to pay bills at your leisure. With Bill Pay from SOCU, you’ll free yourself from all the inconvenience that makes bill paying time consuming. Bill Pay puts you in control by allowing you to pay merchants using a PC via the Internet whenever and wherever you want. For Bill Pay, you must have a Home Branch account and direct deposit of a recurring check. Click here to sign-up now.

E-Statements are a safe, convenient way to view your credit union account statements through our secure Home Branch online banking service. With E-Statements you:

• Receive email notifications when your statement is available.
• Have faster and safer access than with statements sent through the mail.
• View, download or print your statement.
• Help our environment by reducing paper waste.

To sign-up for E-Statements, simply sign into your Home Branch as usual and click the E-Statement link on the left-hand menu bar. This will display the Welcome to Statement Express page, next click the Sign Up button at the bottom. You will receive your 1st statement at the beginning of the following month and an email will be sent to the email address provided to notify you that your statement is ready for viewing.
