How To Submit Proof of Insurance
In an age full of internet scams and too much spam, we all know it’s smart to be cautious about opening links you’re not familiar with. However, if you receive an email or text from us concerning your home or auto insurance, it’s OK to click. Providing you with convenient digital communication options is just one more area in which we’re leading the way to the future of financial services.
Please remember that we will NEVER ask you for a passcode, login information, or account information via email or text.
How To Submit Proof of Insurance for a Vehicle
As part of your loan agreement, your vehicle must have comprehensive and collision insurance coverage for the full term of your loan contract submitted within 30 days.
We are looking for a declaration page or other policy document that shows all six pieces. Insurance cards and binders are not accepted. You can obtain a copy of your declarations page by calling your agent or insurance company or logging into your online insurance portal.
The documentation you submit needs to include all six of the following items:
The insured’s name (ex: John Doe)
Vehicle Description and VIN (ex: 2014 Kia Soul 567823ABCDEF1234)
Comprehensive and Collision Deductibles (list coverage and deductible amounts)
Policy Number (ex: 1234ABCD)
Policy Period (ex: March 20, 2022 – September 20, 2022)
Service One Credit Union listed as loss payee/lienholder (see below*)
*When you list Service One Credit Union as a lienholder on your policy, use the address below so that we receive a copy of policy renewals or changes.
